Hello Snohomish County voters and residents!

It has been my honor to serve as your county auditor since 2020.

As a long-time Snohomish County resident, I am passionate about efficient and effective county government.  As an independent, nonpartisan professional, I remain committed to ensuring accurate, accessible, secure, transparent elections, and providing customer-focused recording, licensing and animal services.

During my first term, the Auditor’s Office has delivered for county residents by:

• conducting accurate, accessible, secure, transparent local, state and national elections that have withstood intense public review
• securing funding and support to enhance the security of our elections system
• implementing a new recording system with expanded online tools, that provide critical services to homeowners and real estate professionals
• performing audits of our county’s licensing subagents to ensure they are serving the public well
• working with county prosecutors to hold irresponsible animal owners accountable, protecting both animals and residents
• expanding outreach and education efforts through social media and other activities
• providing a growingly diverse Snohomish County community with top-notch customer service
• maintaining all of our services for residents, voters and customers throughout the COVID-19 shutdown without skipping a beat!

The next four years will provide new challenges and opportunities for the Auditor’s Office including a high-profile Presidential election year in 2024, the completion of facility and security improvements to election operations in 2023, a multi-year project to expand access to recorded documents, and ongoing outreach and education to increase the public’s engagement with our services.

Now more than ever, Snohomish County needs an experienced, nonpartisan professional running our elections and delivering efficient, effective essential government services.
